Olympic Distance Triathlon
The race is set in beautiful Washington County.
The course will include a 1.5 Km triangular loop swim (wetsuits
allowed), a 40 Km bike course with one hill early in the course
with the remainder of the course containing a mix of rolling hills
and flats, and a 10 Km run which will include a fast paced flat
course with a mix of trails and roads.

*After first loop, exit water to beach for a short run, re-enter
water
for second loop
*After completing both loops, exit and head up beach front to
transition area (there will be a roped off section for athletes
only
to run on)

All runners will be running on the east side
of State Rt.22. Cones will separate participants from traffic, however,
runners heading out and in will be sharing the shoulder of the road...Please
be respectful of each other out on the course.
EXITING the TRANSITION AREA you will TURN RIGHT heading
towards a
short TRAIL RUN.
You will be on a wide trail (north end of beach) for 1/4 mile out
and
1/4 mile back, passing back by the TRANSITION AREA
After passing by the transition area you will run on the pavement
of
the Lake Lauderdale Park Rd.
TURN RIGHT on to STATE RT.22
TURN RIGHT on to LAUDERDALE LOOP ROAD
STRAIGHT ACROSS COUNTY RT.61 to ACKLEY RD.
At end of Ackley Rd. TURN RIGHT on to STATE RT.22
About a 1/4 mile on STATE RT.22 you will be at the TURNAROUND
Then return back to the Lake Lauderdale Park running on STATE RT.22
the entire way.
The FINISH WILL be on the GRASS in FRONT of the PAVILION

All roads are open to traffic! It is the responsibility
of each participant to know the course prior to the event and to
follow all traffic laws.
Exit the Lake Lauderdale Park (caution, there is one
bump in the road
by the curve - there will be a sign)
Turn RIGHT on to STATE RT.22
Turn RIGHT on to ACKLEY RD.
Bear LEFT on to COUNTY RT.61 (this is .6 mile climb...yeah!, but
is
followed by a fast descent - caution must be taken at bottom because
you will be turning right)
Turn RIGHT on to Sutherland Rd.
Sutherland will end and merge RIGHT with COUNTY RT.64
Turn LEFT on to FISH HATCHERY RD. (Railroad tracks...will be covered
during race)
Turn LEFT on to STATE RT.313 (There will be a State Trooper or Sheriff
directing traffic)
Turn AROUND on STATE RT.313 at REST AREA (THERE WILL BE AN AID STATION
HERE, and a State Trooper or Sheriff directing traffic)
Turn RIGHT on EAGLEVILLE RD (Pass under a COVERED BRIDGE - Cool!!!)
TURN LEFT on COUNTY RT.61
TURN LEFT on COUNTY RT.64 (You will pass by Sutherland...caution
should be taken as riders will be merging from Sutherland early
in the
ride... Race marshalls will be on hand to help direct traffic)
